Martin and I experienced a 2hr/4km Noah Valley nocturnal adventure through the largest privately owned World Heritage property in the Cape Tribulation area with Mick.
I saw many things that I haven't seen anywhere else. A grand total of seven Bearded Dragons, a larger than life Strangler Fig, stinging tree, frogs, bugs, spiders and birds.
Meandering through the forest with special LED torches (supplied), listening to Mick's informative commentary was like being an elf on orientation in a magical forest. You definately can't see things like this from the roadside!
Next I'd like to do a half day trek with Mick to Mount Emmet Fossil Falls and learn about bush tucker and remedies used by local Kuku Yalanji people, enjoy morning tea at the falls and a swim in Noah Creek Dragonhole.
